Flahavan’s Organic Oat Growers Conference 2025

We were delighted to welcome over 150 organic oat growers to our Flahavan’s Organic Oat Growers Conference in Portlaoise on 21st October. It was fantastic evening of learning, networking, and celebrating the growing strength of Ireland’s organic oat community.

Expert presentations were provided on the night by renowned agronomist John Geraghty (SETU), Niall Ryan (Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine), Professor Martin Danaher (Research Officer at Teagasc) , Martin Bourke Organic Tillage Specialist with Teagasc and Margaret Farrell (Teagasc Climate Action & Sustainability Advisor) as well as updates from Johnny Flahavan and James Flahavan.
