Flahavan’s “Grow Your Own Toppings” Promotion

Specific Terms

These Specific Terms supplement and should be read in conjunction with the E. Flahavan & Sons Ltd Standard Promotional Terms and Conditions (the "Standard Terms") available at /happenings/promotions-terms/  Capitalised terms used in these Specific Terms have the meanings given in the Standard Terms unless otherwise defined below. In the event of any conflict between these Specific Terms and the Standard Terms, these Specific Terms shall prevail.

1. Promotion Name and Type

1.1 This Promotion is called "Grow Your Own Toppings".

1.2 This Promotion comprises two elements:

1.2.1 A Giveaway of free strawberry seed packets (while stocks last), fulfilled by Mr Fothergill's Seeds Ltd, Gazeley Road, Kentford, Newmarket, Suffolk, CB8 7QB; and

1.2.2 A Prize Draw for the chance to win one of 20 annual memberships of Garden Organic (Garden Organic, Ryton Gardens, Wolston Lane, Coventry, Warwickshire, CV8 3LG) and for each of the 20 winners of the Garden Organic memberships, they will also receive a Flahavan’s Organic Hamper. There are 20 hampers available.

1.3 Entrants may participate in both elements of this Promotion by completing a single entry. If you enter and Giveaway stocks have run out, you can still enter into the prize draw.

2. Promotional Period

2.1 The Promotion opens at 00:01 on 16 February 2026 and closes at 23:59 on 14 March 2026 (the "Promotional Period").

2.2 Entries received outside the Promotional Period will not be accepted.

2.3 The Giveaway element (free strawberry seed packets) is available while stocks last. Once all seed packets have been allocated, the landing page will be updated to inform participants that the seeds are no longer available but that they may still enter the Prize Draw.

3. Eligibility

3.1 This Promotion is open to residents of the United Kingdom (including Northern Ireland) aged 18 years or over at the time of entry.

3.2 In addition to the exclusions set out in the Standard Terms, employees and workers of Mr Fothergill’s and Garden Organic, and members of their immediate families, are not eligible to enter.

4. How to Enter

4.1 To enter, participants must visit the Promotion landing page and complete the online entry form with their name, postal address, and email address.

4.2 Internet access and a valid email address are required.

4.3 No purchase is necessary to enter this Promotion.

4.4 There is no charge to enter, although standard internet connection and mobile data charges may apply.

4.5 Entries are limited to one per person per household.

4.6 By submitting an entry, participants will be entered into:

4.6.1 the Giveaway (subject to availability of seed packets); and

4.6.2 the Prize Draw for the Garden Organic membership and a Flahavan’s Organic Hamper.

4.7 Participants may opt in to receive:

4.7.1 the Flahavan's newsletter; and/or

4.7.2 the Garden Organic newsletter.

4.8 Opting in to either newsletter is voluntary and is not a condition of entry.

5. Giveaway: Strawberry Seed Packets

5.1 Item: One packet of strawberry seeds per eligible entrant.

5.2 Quantity available: 4,800 packets.

5.3 Supplier and fulfilment: Seed packets are supplied by Mr Fothergill’s and will be fulfilled directly by Mr Fothergill’s on behalf of the Promoter.

5.4 Allocation: Seed packets will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis to eligible entrants while stocks last.

5.5 Delivery: Seed packets will be dispatched within 28 days of the entry being received.

5.6 No cash alternative: There is no cash alternative to the seed packet.

5.7 Stock exhaustion: Once all 4,800 seed packets have been allocated, the Giveaway element will close. Participants who enter after this point will still be entered into the Prize Draw.

6. Prize Draw: Garden Organic Annual Membership

6.1 Prize: One of 20 annual memberships of Garden Organic (a UK registered charity promoting organic growing) plus one of 20 Flahavan’s Organic Hampers.

6.2 Number of winners: 20.

6.3 Prize value: Approximately £4 per month per membership as at February 2026 plus a Flahavan’s hamper worth approximately £12. Hamper contents: 1 bag of Flahavan’s Organic Porridge Oats 1kg, 1 bag of Flahavan’s Organic Jumbo Oats 1kgs, 2 boxes of Flahavan’s Organic sachets 8x35g.

6.4 Prize supplier: Garden Organic.

6.5 Draw date: The Prize Draw will take place on 14 March 2026 (or as soon as reasonably practicable thereafter).

6.6 Selection method: Winners will be selected at random from all valid entries received during the Promotional Period, using an electronic random selection method.

6.7 No cash alternative: There is no cash alternative to the Garden Organic membership.

6.8 Additional terms: The membership is subject to Garden Organic's standard membership terms and conditions.

7. Winner Notification and Prize Fulfilment

7.1 Winners of the Prize Draw will be notified by email within 7 days of the draw date using the email address provided in their entry.

7.2 Garden Organic will send out your prize once you have been notified, within a reasonable period.

7.3 Winner details will be shared with Garden Organic solely for the purpose of activating the membership.

7.4 Memberships will be activated within 28 days of the winner confirming their details.

7.5 We may publish the winner(s) on our digital channels – please contact us if you don’t want to be mentioned.

7.6 We will never ask for your bank details or card details, or to pay a subscription – if an account claiming to be us does so, it is likely a scam and you should not engage or submit any information to the sender. Please immediately notify us if you are unsure if communication is genuine using the contact details in these Terms.

8. Third Party Fulfilment Partners

8.1 The following third parties will receive entrants' personal data for the purposes of fulfilling this Promotion:

8.2 Personal data will be shared with these third parties solely for the purpose of fulfilling the relevant element of this Promotion and in accordance with the Standard Terms and the Promoter's privacy policy.

9. Publicity

9.1 The surname and county of Prize Draw winners may be made available on request, or published on the Promoter's website or social media channels, for a period of two months after the closing date.

9.2 Winners may be asked to participate in reasonable publicity activities connected with the Promotion. Participation is not a condition of receiving a prize.
